LAURA FINNEY

1971 Mercury Capri
2300cc FORD 4 Cyl.
Keizer, Oregon

Laura started racing borrowed cars during the end of the 2009 Summer Series and she was "bit".  Her brother Brian and her friends, Britton, Papa Tom, Tyler Tobey and Ben all had a hand in getting her brother, Tommy "Spin Finn" Finney's old chasis hauled home and the guys went to work days, nights and weekends to get Laura's car running before the first race.  They made it in fine style with moments to spare.  Then,
in a fashion that only a mechanic/engineer can swing, her cousin Jay with the help of Lee, Blake, Macey, West, Robyn (and anybody else she could grab)...her baby was rebuilt again from the ground up.  Laura grew up on a race track and has watched a couple of generations of racers with envy.  She now has her own car, a 10 year wish and a 40 year dream come true.  Thank you guys for all of your hard work to get it there!  Laura would like to thank her sponsors:
